Any Suggestions on a Semi-Cheap Vacation?

Need a Semi-Cheap Vacation solution………?
Me and the Mrs. Decided to take memorial weekend off as vacation but not we have the problem of finding something to do….. We have about $800 but for a 3 day weekend that’s not much anymore. Any suggestions? I live in the Inland empire so anywhere in southern Cali would do….. ahhh this is driving me crazy. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. Oh and one more thing, the Mrs. does not want to spend most of the money on lodging…
The $800 would have to include lodging, food, drinks, fun play, etc. Hopefully that can get up by. She mostly wants to relax on her vacation..

    The weekend on dinner boat cruise or something enjoy it.

    An adventurous place with all the ocean that would be cheap and nice equipment and snacks but seriously go to like hotel by the leftover money you could buy some nice equipment.
